GLO: Gabby's Legacy Organization in Action

At Gabby's Legacy Organization (GLO), we are committed to supporting childhood cancer patients and their families. We launched on May 5, 2021, a few years after Gabby passed, in honor of her life and legacy. 

In our first year, we introduced a program called "Holidays @ Home," which involved providing wish lists to three families. We focused on families who had recently lost a loved one or were not currently receiving treatment at the hospital. Over time, we have increased the number of families we support to four.

In 2022, we added several new programs, including hospitality and grief kits, "Best Day Ever," and Thanksgiving meals. In 2023, we were able to provide our first family with support from our final expense fund. We spent 2023 refining our program offerings, updating our marketing strategies (including an updated website), and preparing to expand our services in 2024.
