It has been said that "Time is the currency of life; spend it on worthy pursuits." What a privilege to spend your time supporting and helping those in need. We have several opportunities throughout the year that only require a limited amount of time but will be a tremendous benefit to our organization.
If you are interested in serving in any capacity, this is your role! We are looking for individuals with planning skills and who are detail-oriented. Also, individuals who would like to volunteer at vendor booths for the organization.
Time Commitment: Varies; as needed (1 - 3 hours at a time)
We seek individuals to help research facts and content for our Awareness Campaigns. Individuals should have basic research and general writing skills to develop content.
Time Commitment: 2 - 4 hours a month
We seek individuals with graphic skills to create graphics and assist with marketing materials. Video and graphics experience preferred. Experience with Canva a plus, but will train.
Time Commitment: 4 - 5 hours a month
We seek experts in the pediatric cancer field to assist in providing content for our awareness campaigns. We welcome doctors, nurses, child life specialists, social workers, medical assistants, chaplains, etc., who want to share their knowledge, expertise, and experiences.
Time Commitment: As needed
We seek to partner with therapists and counselors who want to work with childhood cancer patients and their families as they navigate this journey. We are also in need of a grief counselor. Degrees and certifications are required.

This year, we will host our first Better When I’m Dancing Community Dance Party Fundraiser on August 24, 2024, from 12p - 4p at The Journey Event Center in Greenville, NC, in honor of Gabby’s favorite pastime, dancing! Tickets are $20. Let’s keep her spirit alive and spread joy through the power of dance by coming together to support childhood cancer patients and their families.
